A hotlist is a collection of pre-selected links of websites that are most applicable to the assigned topic and will easily assist the student to complete the learning objective.
I will use a hotlist to direct students to appropiate and useful sites to complete any given assignments. This would avoid students wasting time searching the entire internet, and browsing inappropiate material. The given hotlist could be used to complete any research assignment, or complete a worksheet.
Social Studies 20 Assignment
As a Social Studies Level 20 class we would begin to create a society composed of the class as citizens. To intialize our democratic beginnings I would propose we create a ”Charter” defining how our society would function. To create this Charter students will need to understand the importance of Human Rights. They will review the websites to come up with a list of three to five points for each of the following in regards to the Canadian Charter of Human Rights: pros, cons, amendments for the class, and questions.
