Powerpoint is an interactive tool that can incorporate into the classroom in various ways. Foremost it is display piece of technology that allows the user to organize material in numerous ways to display, present, and relay it to the audience. While Powerpoint is user friendly and offers various ways to organize your material it is important to ensure the contents is appealing and not overwhelming to the audience.

The following are a few examples of ways a user could take advantage of Powerpoint within a classroom:

Presentations & Lectures,  Games, Online Notes, Lesson Set, & Agenda.

An example Powerpoint is provided to display a sample of a consistent well flowing presentation on various learning therorists and their connection to technology.

I would employ the use of Powerpoint in the classroom in a Hisory 30: Canadian Studies Class. Specifically during a lecture and class discussion on the topic of The Movement of Inclusion: Suffragettes and the Struggle for Equality. While lecturing on a few key Canadian Women in this era I would display their pictures on the Powerpoint, and any relevant pictures pertaining to my lecture. Such as their childhood homes, pictures of their families, or any movie or television clips. My reasoning behind this is to cultivate the lecture in the form of a story to have these women come alive to the students.  Following the story I would include a jeopardy type question and answer game regarding the given lecture to cement the ideas and people to the students.
