A Web Page is one page of material or information that is displayed on the Internet for anyone to see. It may consist of all or a few of the following; pictures images, clip art images, text, headers, tables and links to other websites. Here is my sample web page that provides information on My Christmas Trip to Wales.

I would employ the use of a Web Page in the classroom to have students display work that they have been assigned on the Internet. This would give their parents, families, and peers the opportunity to view the material and see what the students are learning, in a  fun and interactive manner. By having the students use a Web Page as opposed to a traditional type of submission they become familiar with the technology used to create Web Pages, and it allows them an alternative manner to submit their work.

Specifically within the Law 30 Curriculum I would instruct the class to individually create a Web Page on the topic of Workplace Practices & Fair Treatment in the Workplace, that is covered in Unit 5.  After reviewing the legal guidelines, and available information on where to retrieve these guidelines I would have students create a Web Page detailing their understanding of Workplace Practices. I would ask for them to include examples of both fair & unfair practices, and pictures. Included on the page should be links on where to obtain legal documentation in regards to labour laws, and perhaps some sample workplace laws if available.

The use of a Web Page would allow the students to use a computer program that may be foreign to some students, while familiar to others. Either way the task would be easily accomplished. The content is relevant to their daily lives as most of the students will currently be active in the workforce in part-time positions, or looking to obtain employment after graduation.
